A mental health assessment is a way to talk about what you’re feeling with the help of a qualified professional. This assessment helps you and your doctor understand if you’re dealing with mental problems like stress, anxiety, depression, or something else. We know these feelings can be hard to talk about, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.
We take the time to listen to what you’re going through without any judgment. Our comprehensive mental health assessment might include a friendly chat, a few questions, and sometimes a simple form to fill out.
After your mental health care assessment, we will work with you to plan the next steps on how you can feel better. Your treatment plan may include regular check-ins, counselling referrals, or help managing medications. Everyone’s situation is different, so we’ll make sure your care fits your needs.
We also help you access Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP), which may allow you to see a psychologist or counsellor with Medicare support. Our team is here to guide you through the process, from the moment you come in for your assessment to your regular check-ins.
Our doctors have experience supporting mental health concerns of all kinds. Whether it’s trouble sleeping, constant worry, mood changes, or feeling overwhelmed—we’re here to help.
